1000 Forms of Fear examines feelings of unease, menace and dread—an escalating sense of horror, echoing the perception of fear that pervades our daily life. The first artist in a series of three installations, Jess Taylor explores violent representations through the language of model-making, reflecting a tendency to project ourselves and our anxieties onto the make believe.

EXHIBITION: JAMFACTORY 2016 ICON: Gerry Wedd - KITSCHEN MAN (GalleryOne)
JamFactory's icon series is an annual solo exhibition celebrating the achievements of one of South Australia's leading craft and design practitioners. The 2016 Icon is Gerry Wedd. Wedd enjoys a national reputation for his hand-built blue and white ceramics that brim with a dry wit oscillating from the humorous to darkly disturbing.
ARTIST TALK: Gerry Wedd will also be doing an artist talk responding to his exhibition, starting 6pm.
EXHIBITION: Soap Score: Honor Freeman (GalleryTwo)
Honor Freeman presents a solo exhibition of porcelain objects reflecting on how to measure a life and mark times passing. Creating beautiful still life tableaus that capitalise on slip-cast porcelain's mimetic qualities, Honor will be producing her most ambitious installation to date, 656 soaps, a project that reflects life's journey through everyday objects.
